The underwriter’s laboratories (U. L.) test the product by heating it up to 1,700 degrees (most fires reach 800 degrees) over the course of an hour, then cooling it over several days. The interior temperature must remain at or below 125 degrees. This product meets or exceeds all tests for heat and impact resistance.
